In the operational zone of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) Kharkiv, the situation remains complex and tense, with the Russians regrouping in Vovchansk. Over the past day, there have been 11 clashes with the Russian forces, resulting in the elimination of 137 Russian soldiers.
According to the press service of the JFO Kharkiv reported on Telegram:
“In the operational zone of the JFO Kharkiv, the situation remains complex and tense. The enemy is trying to regain lost positions and force the Ukrainian Defense Forces out of their occupied lines. In Vovchansk, Russian occupiers conducted an evacuation of casualties from the assault unit of the 153rd Tank Regiment of the 47th Tank Division of the 1st Tank Army. They are regrouping the personnel of the assault groups. In the central part of the city, our defenders destroyed an enemy BMP-2 along with its crew and infantry who were advancing to assault the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.”
The report also notes that in the area of the settlement of Hlyboke, the Russian forces are organizing coordination between the 79th Motorized Rifle Regiment and the 155th Separate Marine Brigade of the Pacific Fleet, and is laying mines along forest belts. Over the past day, there have been 11 combat engagements. The Russian forces also launched 31 kamikaze drone attacks and shelled Ukrainian Defense Forces positions 437 times. Fighting continues in the Vovchansk area since the start of the day.
The press service added that the Defense Forces are adequately responding to the Russian actions, reinforcing units in threatening areas, and continue to destroy the personnel, weapons, and military equipment of the Russian forces.
Specifically, over the past day, the Defense Forces destroyed 137 Russian soldiers and 33 units of weapons and military equipment.
