Invest International signs deal to support prosthetics clinic in Kyiv

Dutch state-owned financial and investment institution Invest International will invest in the development of a prosthetics clinic at the Kyiv Regional Clinical Hospital.

According to a statement published on LinkedIn page, the corresponding letter of intent was signed by Invest International with Ukraine’s Ministry of Health, the Department of Economy of the Kyiv Regional State Administration, and Philips during the Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC 2026) in Gdańsk, Poland. The institution did not disclose further details of the project.

“This project reflects a shared ambition to support Ukraine’s healthcare system in rebuilding stronger and more resilient, in close partnership with the Ministry of health of Ukraine Department of Economics - Kyiv Regional State Administration and Philips. Despite the ongoing war, investment and business in Ukraine continues ,” the statement said.

Invest International emphasized that Dutch companies are actively contributing to Ukraine’s reconstruction with the support of the Dutch government.

“Where commercial financiers are often unable to step in, Invest International plays a catalytic role, enabling businesses to operate, invest, and deliver projects with impact on the ground,” the institution noted.

Invest International’s total investment portfolio in Ukraine amounts to €55.7 million. Invest International was established in 2021 to support the international activities of Dutch companies and finance sustainable development projects abroad. Its shareholders are the Dutch Ministry of Finance (51%) and the Dutch entrepreneurial development bank FMO (49%). The organization finances investment projects, export transactions, infrastructure development, and project preparation, combining commercial financing instruments with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
