The Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has appointed Carlo Formosa as the new ambassador to Ukraine.
This was announced by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Twitter.
"Welcome to Carlo Formosa, the new Italian ambassador to Ukraine," the statement reads.
From January 2020 to April 2024, Carlo Formosa served as Italy's ambassador to Portugal. Starting in July 2024, he began his diplomatic mission in Ukraine, succeeding Pier Francesco Zazo in this position.
