The occupiers will try to exert pressure by throwing in cannon fodder and firing off the rest of the ammunition, he added.
The Russian troops were left without a logistics channel in the Donetsk region, which is why the invaders now face the prospect of a cascading defense collapse along the entire front line.
Defense Express expert Ivan Kirichevsky stated this on the air of the Espresso TV channel.
"The Russians have the prospect of a cascading collapse of defense along the entire front line. The Russians needed Kupyansk to bring ammunition and other resources for the troops that were concentrated in the newly captured territories of the Luhansk and Donetsk regions," he explained.
According to Kirichevskiy, the railroad through Kupyansk was the only route to feed the Russian troops that were concentrated in these expanses.
"The Russians will try to exert pressure by throwing cannon fodder and firing off ammunition remnants. Now the Russians are in a state that the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be able to maintain defense in the Donbas, on the lines that we have now," the expert added.
On September 11, in the morning report, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine noted that our units entered Kupyansk, and the liberation of the settlements of the Kupyansk and Izyum districts of the Kharkiv region continues.
