Izmail border guards are among the leaders in sports competitions within the framework of the Ukrainian-American exercises "Rapid Trident-2021"

A total of 12 teams took part in the competition. In a bitter struggle, the first place was taken by the servicemen from Lithuania, the second - by the Ukrainian servicemen of special operations and the third - by the soldiers of the border commandant's office of the rapid reaction of the Izmail detachment.

Recall that the Ukrainian-American trainings "Rapid Trident - 2021" are currently underway at the International Center for Peacekeeping and Security of the National Academy of Ground Forces named after Hetman Petr Sahaidachny.

This year, from the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, the units of the border commandant's office of rapid response of the Izmail detachment are participating in them. In addition to the host countries, Ukraine and the United States of America, servicemen from Bulgaria, Canada, Georgia, Germany, Jordan, Lithuania, Latvia, Moldova, Pakistan, Poland, Romania, Turkey and Great Britain are taking part in the exercises.

The personnel of the Lithuanian-Polish-Ukrainian Brigade will also join the Rapid Trident - 2021 exercises.

It is reported that mechanized, tank and artillery units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine during training will practice methods of active defense and offensive tactics.

Ukrainian-American military exercises Rapid Trident - 2021 will last till October 1, 2021. About 6,000 servicemen will take part in them.
