The High Representative of the EU, Josep Borrell, posted a photo of himself standing near a shelter during an air raid alert in the Ukrainian capital on Monday morning, November 11.
Borrell shared his impressions of the alert on social media platform X.
“Starting my day in Kyiv in the shelter, as Russia unleashes another missile attack,” he wrote.
Borrell added that this is the daily reality for the Ukrainian people after Russia's full-scale invasion. On the morning of Monday, November 11, air raid alerts were declared across Ukraine. The Air Forces reported the launch of Tu-95 and MiG-31 aircraft by the Russian forces.
Due to the missile strike threat, emergency power outage schedules were implemented in Kyiv.
