The international home goods chain JYSK opened an updated store in Kyiv’s Kvadrat shopping mall on Thursday, following the 3.0 concept, as announced by JYSK Ukraine’s Country Director, Yevhen Ivanytsia.
"Since 2022, 18 stores in Ukraine have been updated according to this concept, and the process continues. The reopening of each store is an opportunity to present customers with a new, modern format that meets global standards," Ivanytsia said.
According to the company's press release, the JYSK store has been operating at the Kvadrat shopping mall since December 2014. The updated store is now located in a more convenient spot and features the 3.0 concept, which includes modern design, improved navigation, full spot lighting, and expanded space. After the update, the retail area was increased from 939 square meters to 1,055 square meters, the storage area from 278 square meters to 324 square meters, while the office space remained the same at 30 square meters.
Currently, JYSK operates 104 stores in 37 cities across Ukraine, along with an online store, jysk.ua. JYSK in Ukraine employs over 800 people.
JYSK is part of the family-owned Lars Larsen Group, which has over 3,400 stores in 48 countries.
JYSK's revenue for the 2023/24 financial year amounted to EUR 5.6 billion.
