The Russian army resumed offensive actions on Starytsia in the Kharkiv direction on May 28, the operational-strategic group of troops Khortytsia reported on Telegram.
In the Kharkiv direction, Russian forces renewed their offensive on Starytsia but did not achieve success. They also unsuccessfully attacked Ukrainian positions in Vovchansk.
In the Kupiansk direction, Russian forces stormed the defense fortifications near Krasne Pershe, Doroshivka, Zelenyi Hai, and Zahryzove. They had no success, suffered losses, and withdrew.
In the Lyman direction, the Russian army attacked near the settlements of Nadiia, Hrekivka, Olhivka, Novyi Myr, Zelena Dolyna, Kolodiazi, Shandryholove, Myrne, and Ridkodub. The Defense Forces repelled the Russian forces’ assault attempts. Attempts by the Russian troops to improve their tactical position in the Serebriansky forestry were also unsuccessful.
In the Siversky direction, Russian troops unsuccessfully attacked Ukrainian positions near Verkhnokamyanske.
In the Kramatorsk direction, Russian forces conducted offensive operations near Markove, Bila Hora, Stupochky, and Chasiv Yar. Ukrainian positions were not lost.
In the Toretsk direction, Russian troops carried out assaults near Dylivka, Druzhba, Krymske, Pleshchiyivka, Zorya, Yablunivka, Popove Yar, and Toretsk. All Russian forces’ attacks were repelled.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the Russian army attacked near Myroliubivka, Udachne, Novomykolaivka, Novopavlivka, Horikhove, Malynivka, Lysivka, Kotlyne, and Troitske. Defense Forces repelled the assaults and inflicted losses on the Russian forces.
In the Novopavlivsk direction, Russian troops attempted to break through the defense near Kostyantynopil, Bahatyr, and Veselyi. Russian forces’ attacks were successfully repelled. The Defense Forces continue to hold the line, destroying the Russian forces’ superior numbers.
