Since the start of the full-scale war, Kyivstar has invested 920 million hryvnias in ensuring energy independence for its telecom networks. Specifically, over 680 million hryvnias have been allocated for the autonomous operation of mobile communication, and 240 million hryvnias for "Home Internet".

Currently, the company utilizes over 2,500 stationary and mobile diesel generators. This enables all key base stations, switches, and critical telecom equipment to have backup power. New long-lasting battery packs have been installed at base stations, capable of operating without external power for 4-6 hours. Almost 37,000 of these batteries have been installed, and this work continues.

Kyivstar also prioritizes its subscribers who use the fixed high-speed internet service, "Home Internet". The company's plan is to protect 70% of the fixed internet network from power outages by the end of this year. To achieve this, 50,000 uninterruptible power supply units will be installed for "Home Internet" by year-end. Additionally, the company is working on implementing energy-efficient GPON technology. The construction of the "Home Internet" network using this technology is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2023.

Kyivstar, as of June 2023, is the largest Ukrainian electronic communications operator, serving 24.1 million mobile communication subscribers and over 1.1 million "Home Internet" subscribers. The company offers services utilizing a wide range of mobile and fixed technologies, including 4G, Big Data, Cloud solutions, cybersecurity services, digital TV, and more. Kyivstar is aiding subscribers, society, and the country in overcoming the challenges of wartime. Since the start of the full-scale war, the company has allocated over 1.162 billion hryvnias in humanitarian assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, society, and subscribers.

Kyivstar's sole shareholder is the international group VEON. The group's shares are listed on the stock exchanges NASDAQ (New York) and Euronext (Amsterdam). Kyivstar has been operating in Ukraine for 25 years and is recognized as the largest taxpayer in the telecom market, a top employer, and a socially responsible company

Kyivstar serves 24 million subscribers for communication services and over 1 million subscribers for "Home Internet". The telecom operator is continuously developing and upgrading its network to provide its subscribers with stable and high-quality communication and data transmission services.
