Accord Furniture Company, a leading furniture manufacturer in Khmelnytsky, has begun building a new case goods production plant, as reported by Dmytro Kiselevskyi, Deputy Head of the Economic Committee of the Ukrainian Parliament. The factory is set to launch in July 2025.
The investment totals $14 million.
The launch of the first production lines is scheduled for July 2025, with the new factory expected to reach full capacity by September. To meet energy needs, a 1.1 MW solar power station has been built, with an additional 2.8 MW under construction, and a gas engine unit has been purchased. The new plant will provide jobs for 140 residents of Khmelnytsky.
Currently, the existing Accord Furniture Company plant is operating at full capacity. Approximately 70% of the company’s case goods orders come from the international retail chain JYSK. In 2025, JYSK increased its orders for case goods from Ukraine by a third. Overall, 96% of the company's products are exported to European Union countries. The launch of the new factory will allow the company to expand its export markets to the Middle East, South Asia, and South America.
Accord Furniture Company was founded by the Hrabar family, who initially began by importing furniture. As the name suggests, the company has now grown to become the largest case goods exporter in Ukraine.
"To replace imported honeycomb cardboard, which is used by the company for furniture packaging, another factory is currently being built in Khmelnytsky region. The new facility will produce honeycomb cardboard to the highest standards. Additionally, the supplier of wood panels for "Akord Import" is Kronospan, which recently launched a production line in Rivne," wrote Dmytro Kiselevskyi.
