In the east of Ukraine, there are fierce battles with the Russian invaders, but the enemy does not have significant success. This was announced by the Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Anna Malyar.

According to her, the Ukrainian defenders do not allow the invaders to move deep into the territory of Ukraine, and also block the implementation of their plan to seize the Donetsk and Lugansk regions.

"The front line is now very wide, and practically the Armed Forces of Ukraine should be strengthened along this entire large line. And there are indeed situations when the enemy has an advantage, for example, in terms of numbers. We had cases when the enemy's advantage was 15 times. But suppose we will talk in general about the entire dynamics of the front, even though there are difficult situations in some areas, in general. In that case, we do not allow the enemy to move deep into the territory and do not allow implementing the first plan at the second stage of the war, which they set for themselves - these are Donetsk, Luhansk regions," Malyar stressed.

She added that fierce battles are going on now, but the enemy is not getting any positive results.

Earlier, Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Anna Malyar noted that several very difficult weeks or even months await in anticipation of armed assistance to our country.
