Massive fires erupted in Odessa following a Russian drone attack on the city, according to Ukraine’s Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The strike, which occurred overnight, caused damage to civilian infrastructure and injured at least three people.
"Russian drones struck Odessa. Preliminary reports indicate three people were injured. Fires broke out and were extinguished by rescuers, volunteers, a National Guard fire unit, and a unit of the Odesa City Council," the ministry said in a statement on Telegram.
The attack damaged residential buildings, a school, and multiple vehicles. Emergency response teams continue to assess the full extent of the damage.
