Ukrposhta announced auctions for over forty real estate properties across almost the entire territory of Ukraine. The total area of the premises exceeds 30,000 square meters, with a starting price of more than 333 million hryvnias. The auctions are organized via the Prozorro.Sales platform, ensuring transparency and equal opportunities for all potential buyers.

Joint-stock company Ukrposhta is a state postal enterprise under the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine and serves as the national postal operator.

The lots include both individual premises and entire building complexes located in regional centers and smaller towns. This variety attracts investors with different budgets and development plans, from commercial use to creating new business centers or logistics facilities.

The most expensive properties are in Rivne. Significant real estate is also offered in Ivano-Frankivsk.

Geography and variety of lots

The sales cover nearly the entire country—from western regions to central and southern regions. The list of lots includes properties in Kharkiv, Kryvyi Rih, Mykolaiv, Kherson, and smaller towns, making the auctions attractive to a wide range of investors.

The lots range from large complexes to small premises. The smallest property is in the village of Zhdeniyevo in Zakarpattia region—a 69.6-square-meter building section with a starting price of just 408,000 hryvnias. This opens opportunities for local entrepreneurs or private investors seeking affordable commercial or private-use options.

This wide geographic distribution reflects Ukrposhta’s aim to optimize its real estate and strengthen the organization’s financial stability while supporting local economic development through privatization of state-owned properties.

Impact on Ukrposhta operations and security

Some Ukrposhta branches have temporarily suspended operations due to security risks. For example, operations were halted in Kostiantynivka, Donetsk region, and a mobile branch in Nikopol district, Dnipropetrovsk region, was attacked, resulting in partial destruction. These incidents highlight the challenges faced by the national postal operator during crises.

Despite these challenges, the company continues to expand international partnerships. For instance, an agreement with the U.S. Postal Service allows shipments via Los Angeles, Chicago, Miami, and New York airports, supporting international logistics and improving service quality for Ukrainian citizens and businesses.

The Ukrposhta real estate sale has strategic significance for both the company and the country’s economy. Large-scale auctions open new investment opportunities, promote regional business development, and enhance the financial resilience of the postal operator.

At the same time, the company continues to adapt to security conditions and international markets, conclude strategic agreements, and review tariffs. This demonstrates a comprehensive approach to resource management and logistics infrastructure development, a key factor in ensuring stability and efficiency of postal services in Ukraine.
