The company "Metinvest" has already built more than 35 battalion support points for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Each such point consists of a network of tunnels and steel bunker shelters unified into a single complex. The plans include constructing approximately 90 more points.

This information is reported by the operational director of the group, Olexander Mironenko.

"We have already handed over more than 330 bunkers for the fighters. But there arose a question of what to do with command points to ensure continuous command near the front line. After that, we had a very substantive discussion with the military, with command on specific fronts. And we developed a project for a command post consisting of 5-6 bunkers," he said.

According to him, these command points are equipped with maximum comfort: they have ventilation, heating, internet, and all communication means used by the military.

There are also facilities where operators observe online what is happening on the front line - observation is carried out using large TVs and computer equipment, which is also provided by "Metinvest."

Production is carried out within the military initiative "Steel Front" by Rinat Akhmetov.

"We take the security of this production seriously because we understand that the enemy is constantly looking for places where they produce products for the defense of Ukraine. All sites where products are produced - from mine trawls to command points and 'shelters' - are located outside our enterprises. We care about the safety of people working on these objects," emphasized Mironenko.

In total, about 400-500 employees of "Metinvest" are constantly involved in the production of defense products.
