The ratio of artillery ammunition between Ukrainians and Russians on the battlefield currently stands at 1:3.

This was reported during a broadcast of the United News telethon by Ivan Havryliuk, the First Deputy Minister of Defense.

"To date, the ratio of artillery ammunition used on the battlefield has decreased compared to winter 2024, when it was 1:8. Today it is 1:3, but the advantage still lies with the Russian Federation," Havryliuk stated.

According to him, Russia has a significantly larger human and mobilization resource potential than Ukraine.

The Deputy Minister informed that the ministry continues to address a number of issues to mitigate this advantage from Russia by implementing various innovative solutions and military technologies to ensure superiority on the battlefield.

"As of today, a process has already been established for identifying problems on the battlefield, quickly making the right decision to address these issues, and implementing them into technologies or types of weapons that arrive on the battlefield. Although this process is still imperfect, we are making significant strides in this direction to solve this problem," Havryliuk stated.

He explained that the Ministry of Defense clearly understands that the advantage on the battlefield and victory in this war will go to the side that can more quickly resolve problematic issues and implement innovative and technological solutions.

According to the First Deputy Minister, the Ukrainian government is also doing significant work to establish joint ventures with partners so that Ukraine can produce the entire range of weapons and military equipment necessary with the help of partners.
