In Málaga, Spain, the Spanish association Asociación Victoriana de Capuchinos officially opened a library, dedicating one of its sections to Ukrainian books.
The Ukrainian Consulate in Málaga reported on Facebook that the library now houses over 100 Ukrainian titles, including works by classic and contemporary authors, as well as children’s literature.
“Thanks to the Ukrainian association Casa Ucrania de Andalucía for this wonderful initiative and for organizing the first Ukrainian book shelf in Málaga. Thanks also to Asociación Victoriana de Capuchinos for their solidarity with Ukraine and support for the Ukrainian language,” the post said.

The consulate noted that each such book section allows Ukrainians abroad to access Ukrainian literature, preserve and pass on their native language to future generations, while local readers can learn about Ukrainian literature, culture, and traditions through books.
