Moldova announced the cancellation of flights to the capitals of five countries due to technical difficulties.
According to the press service of the state airline in Moldova, Air Moldova, flights from and to Prague, London, Paris, Istanbul and Tbilisi have been canceled.
"Flights to and from Prague, London, Paris, Istanbul and Tbilisi are canceled. The reason for the cancellation of flights is operational difficulties. Two aircraft in the airline's fleet are not yet available for flights," the statement said.
The passengers of flight 9U886 Verona will be transferred to Milan's Malpensa Airport, after which they can fly to Chisinau.
Air Moldova is now working to eliminate the consequences and reorganize the flight schedule.
