According to the survey results, most Ukrainians prefer to celebrate Christmas on December 25.

"The survey by the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine and the Ministry of Statistics about the date of the Christmas celebration became one of the most massive. More than 1.5 million Ukrainians took part in it. This shows that the date of Christmas is really important for us today. The majority of Ukrainians (almost 60%) supported the date of December 25. Thank you all for your activity," said Oleksandr Tkachenko, Minister of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine.

Survey results:

  • December 25 — 903,265 votes;
  • January 7 — 390,125 votes;
  • On both dates — 192,788 votes;
  • I don't celebrate Christmas - 45,075 votes.

The survey in the Diia application was implemented by the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine at the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy initiative.
