Russian propaganda is expected to intensify its information campaign aimed at discrediting Ukraine’s European integration over the next two weeks.
According to the Center for Countering Disinformation under Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Council, pro-Kremlin media and politicians will continue spreading narratives about the so-called “threat” Ukraine’s EU integration allegedly poses to Europe itself.
The campaign is also likely to amplify propaganda portraying Ukraine as a “failed state” resorting to terrorism, while pushing anti-mobilization fake news and manipulations into the Ukrainian information space.
In the context of the upcoming BRICS summit, an escalation of anti-Western narratives by Russian propaganda is anticipated.
Additionally, increased anti-Ukrainian rhetoric in Belarus is expected ahead of its Independence Day, along with new information attacks targeting Armenia and Azerbaijan.
