Must Establish Reality: Ukrainian Artists under Siege

On 24 February 2022, Russia launched an unprovoked full-scale invasion of Ukraine. This aggression plunged a country of 41 million people into the horrors of war: shelling, artillery strikes, tank invasions, aerial attacks on civilian targets, blockades, humanitarian crises, wholesale destruction of cities, towns and villages, millions of displaced people, plundering, rape, and abduction, as well as cyberwarfare and media manipulation, which aim to put under quesiton the nature of reality itself. Must Establish Reality brings together the works of six Ukrainian artists united in their resistance against Russia's barbaric imperialism -- on Ukrainian soil and in the space of global narrative formation.

Owing to the unfolding war and humanitarian crisis in Ukraine as a result of Russia’s unprovoked full-scale invasion of Ukraine on 24 February 2022, IZOLYATSIA is shifting all of its organizational efforts towards our country’s resistance against the aggressor and supporting Ukrainians through these tragic times.
