Vice Prime Minister for Innovations, Development of Education, Science, and Technology, and Minister of Digital Transformation, Mykhailo Fedorov, called on the gaming industry and payment systems to consider the possibility of discontinuing business operations with the gamedev company Xsolla.
"Right now your customers’ money flow and support the Russian military machine, as Xsolla continues work in Russia," wrote the head of the Ministry of Digital Transformation in a tweet he posted on social media.
The call is directed at Epic Games, Valve Software, Ubisoft, Roblox, Twitch, Visa, and Mastercard, and it's supported by screenshots of letters to some of these companies, including CEO of Epic Games Tim Sweeney, CEO of Mastercard Michael Miebach, CEO of Roblox David Baszucki, CEO of Twitch Denzil "DJ" Keelings, CEO of Ubisoft Yves Guillemot, CEO of Valve Corporation Gabe Newell, and CEO of Visa Ryan McInerney.
