Recently, the Russian forces hasn't been deploying missile carriers for duty in the Black Sea, except in cases where a massive missile-drone attack is planned.
This was reported by Colonel Natalia Humenyuk, the head of the Unified Coordination Press Center of the Defense Forces in southern Ukraine, during the United News telethon.
"In general, there is a presence of missile carriers in the Black Sea. Even when they are stationed at their bases, they remain dangerous. Whether they will be deployed for combat duty or not is a matter of a few hours. Recently, they haven't been deploying missile carriers for duty, except in cases where a massive missile-drone attack is planned. We have observed this trend several times," said Humenyuk.
According to her, this may be related to the change in leadership of the Russian Black Sea Fleet.
"This move was applied as a trial. Recently, the naval group rarely ventures into the waters of the Black Sea, except for short patrols with a quick return to base. As of now, there has been no information about the deployment of missile carriers in the Black Sea," noted Humenyuk.
