At the CMAS World Championship in Mitikas, Greece, Kharkiv freediver Nataliia Zharkova won the constant weight with fins (CWT) discipline. She dived to a depth of 113 meters, setting a new Ukrainian national record and surpassing her closest competitor by four meters.

The depth of her record dive is comparable to the height of Kyiv skyscrapers: for example, it is taller than the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine building (106 m) and just slightly below the 27-story 101 Tower (116 m).

Congratulations to Nataliia, and let’s keep cheering for the Ukrainian team at the World Championship, running until September 17!
