Today, National Guard units repelled 19 Russian attacks, with the most intense assaults occurring on Zhelanne, Hrodivka, and Vozdvizhivka in the Pokrovsk direction.
This was reported by National Guard spokesperson Ruslan Muzychuk during a nationwide telethon United News.
"Today, in the area where our units are carrying out their tasks in the Pokrovsk direction, there were 9 clashes. These primarily involved enemy infantry attempting to assault our positions. Overall, in the eastern directions, within the Operational Strategic Group Khortytsia, National Guard personnel repelled 19 clashes, including in northern Kharkiv region," he said.
Muzychuk noted that despite the situation in the Kursk region in Russia, the intensity of combat activities in Ukraine remains high. According to him, "by transferring units to Kursk, the enemy is primarily using rear units and reserves."
The National Guard spokesperson also noted that the activity of Russian armored vehicles remains high. He added that today, in the Lyman, Kupiansk, and Pokrovsk directions, there were reports of actions involving armored vehicles. Muzychuk emphasized that military activity is covering more than 10 populated areas in the Pokrovsk direction, with the Russian forces intensifying their assaults on Zhelanne, Hrodivka, and Vozdvizhivka.
