Today, December 5, the first match of the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 took place for the Ukrainian team Natus Vincere (1) in Counter-Strike 2.
Natus Vincere (Born To Win) team won against the American club Liquid (13). The game was played in a Best of 1 format on the Nuke map. NAVI played somewhat unconfidently in the first half but performed well on the T-side and finished the match with a score of 13:10.
The Natus Vincere roster includes two Ukrainians, a Lithuanian, a Romanian, and a Finn:

The Elimination Stage will run from December 5 to December 12. Only the top eight teams will advance to the playoffs. All stages, except the decisive matches, will be played in a best-of-1 format.
The major will last until December 15, with a prize pool of $1.25 million.
