The counteroffensive actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kharkiv direction have grown into a counteroffensive and are already going beyond the operational direction.

Military expert Oleg Zhdanov told this.

"We have two directions where we counterattack the enemy. In terms of scale, we can already say that the counter-offensive actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kharkiv direction have grown into a counter-offensive and are already going beyond the operational direction, that is, they are acquiring a larger scale than we previously thought," he said.

The expert noted that the events in the Kharkiv region radically changed the course of hostilities: "They have already launched an irreversible process in the political life of the Russian Federation. An imperialist war, can turn into a civil war. Today, the society in Russia is starting to blame the political leadership."

According to the expert, the Russians are suffering enormous losses:

“In the Kharkiv direction, units of the 3rd motorized rifle division of the Russian army were left without means of support, and the personnel was in a panic … Why are they retreating so quickly, because we managed to create a situation of panic among the personnel of units and subunits of the Russian army.”

As Zhdanov added, the Kharkiv direction showed that the Russian soldier is not ready to die for the Ukrainian land:

“Finally, they begin to understand what they are doing here and why they came here at all. How does the fire raid of our artillery and our troops' advance change a Russian soldier's worldview?"
