The firepower of the Russian troops will undermine either the lack of ammunition with missiles or an insufficient amount of artillery.

This opinion was expressed by military expert Oleg Zhdanov, answering the question of what type of weapon shortage will become a big problem for the Russian Federation.

"That's when this type of weapon begin to reduce their combat potentials, that's when the Russian Armed Forces will decline," he said. "By the way, it is for this reason that the Russian command runs around all countries where they can Korea, China, Cuba, Iran) with a request: "Give us ammunition, give us missiles."

According to the expert, it is the missile troops and artillery that form the basis of the enemy's firepower:

"That's the main factor. Everything else is complementary elements… He was and remains the God of War: rocket troops and artillery."

Zhdanov is sure that Russia does not have so many guns left:

“After all, Russia has been active for all 20 years. They sold ammunition and used it in wars. Two Chechen wars greatly reduced the amount of ammunition for them … Then there was a war in Georgia, then a war in Syria … ".

As for missiles, the expert noted the use by Russia of old Soviet stocks: Kh-101, Kh-22, Kh-555, Kh-59 missiles.
