Crimea is becoming a trap for the Russian units currently stationed there.

This opinion was expressed by military expert Oleg Zhdanov in an interview with TSN.

"If we advance towards the Azov Sea coast, we are essentially reaching the frontline of February 24, and it opens up opportunities for us to enter Crimea," the expert noted.

According to Zhdanov, the only thing that needs to be done is to destroy the Kerch Bridge.

"The only thing that needs to be done, as our president pointed out, is that the Crimean Bridge is the number one target. And that means, as soon as necessary, the military will destroy it. It doesn't matter if the destruction is not too significant, but it will take about three to four weeks to restore traffic, and that will be enough for us to make it impossible for the southwestern grouping of Russian troops to receive supplies of equipment, weapons, and ammunition," he explained.

The military expert added that if the Ukrainian Armed Forces advance to Perekop, they will destroy the Crimean Bridge and enter Crimea smoothly.

"And then Crimea becomes a trap for the Russian units currently stationed there. Judging by the situation, we can say with certainty that the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces has begun systematic work to move logistics to the territory of Ukrainian Crimea," concluded Oleg Zhdanov.
