Oleksiy Danilov about “conspiracy” around Kherson

The Russians began withdrawing troops from the right bank of the Dnieper back in September.

Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksiy Danilov said that all the “conspiracy theories” around the liberation of Kherson are not true.

As Danilov said on the air of the Ukrainian telethon, the Russians began withdrawing troops from the right bank of the Dnieper back in September when Ukraine announced the start of a counteroffensive in the south.

“Someone has the idea that they allegedly ran away in one day or two days – after Surovikin, together with Shoigu, did that performance. They have fled since our operation began. Our troops are doing everything possible to destroy all invaders on our territory,” Danilov stressed.

The National Security and Defense Council Secretary added that some citizens “are starting to draw some kind of conspiracy theories.” “It does not correspond to reality,” Danilov said.

“If someone thinks that it (an offensive operation) should be littered with the corpses of our invaders, this is not always the case in war,” Danilov added.

Western analysts agree that the loss of Kherson was Putin’s most significant military defeat since the Russian Armed Forces left Kyiv in disgrace in the spring of 2022.
