The foundation of Olena Zelenska and the Ministry of Health have handed over 50 evacuation ambulances to medical professionals from the government of the United Arab Emirates.

27 such vehicles have arrived in Ukraine. The first batch of specialized transport, consisting of 23 units, arrived in our country at the end of 2023. Thus, humanitarian aid from the UAE in the form of ambulances has reached a total of 50 units.

The wife of the President expressed gratitude for the assistance in implementing the project to the Embassy of Ukraine in the UAE.

"At least half a thousand ambulances have been destroyed or taken by the enemy. These are not just material losses - it's the risk of not reaching those who need help in time. That's why this event is special. For us, there is nothing more important than saving lives. We are grateful to everyone who helps us in this," said Olena Zelenska.

All vehicles are distributed to the regions that are in greatest need of specialized transport for medical evacuation and assistance.

"The received 27 ambulances will help medical professionals continue their work and save lives even in challenging conditions. This is a significant reinforcement for our healthcare system," emphasized the Minister of Health of Ukraine, Viktor Lyashko.

The provided ambulances are equipped with everything necessary for emergency medical assistance and rapid patient evacuation, even in off-road conditions.

"These are essentially type 'B' ambulances capable of operating in challenging off-road conditions and in areas with destroyed infrastructure. Similar vehicles have proven their effectiveness and the feasibility of use during the work of disaster medicine teams in the de-occupied and near-frontline areas," noted Vitaliy Krylyuk, the head of the State Enterprise "Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Center for Emergency Medical Aid and Disaster Medicine" under the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

Olena Zelenska's Foundation continues to engage international partners to support Ukraine's medical infrastructure, which is constantly under threat from the enemy.

"The Foundation actively contributes to the restoration of medical infrastructure destroyed daily by the enemy. Providing medical professionals with specialized transport is one of our priorities today. Unfortunately, in times of war, this need remains constant. We are extremely grateful to the government of the UAE for their prompt response and support for Ukraine's healthcare," said Nina Horbachova, the director of the Foundation.
