The fencing tournament at the 2024 Olympics is underway in Paris, France. In the individual sabre events, Ukrainian Olympic champion Olga Kharlan has reached the quarter-finals.
After victories over Japan's Shihomi Fukushima (15-9) and Azerbaijan's Anna Bashta (15-6), Kharlan will face Hungarian Anna Marton in the quarter-finals.
Success in this match guarantees a place on the podium.
