This week, Russia deployed more than 1,300 strike drones, around 1,050 guided aerial bombs, and 29 missiles of various types against Ukraine.
President Volodymyr Zelensky reported this on Facebook:
“Over this week, there were more than 1,300 strike drones, about 1,050 guided aerial bombs, and 29 missiles of various types. That is why Ukraine still needs more protection, above all more missiles for air defense systems. If Russia deliberately drags out the diplomatic process, the world’s response must be decisive: more aid to Ukraine and greater pressure on the aggressor,” Zelensky wrote.
He noted that overnight, more than 200 strike drones targeted Sumy, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Khmelnytskyi, and Odessa regions. Dozens of people were affected, including a child. So far, two people have been reported killed.
The President emphasized that the energy system situation remains difficult, but every effort is being made to restore it as quickly as possible.
“Thanks to all our people, to all the repair crews working around the clock to restore energy after Russian attacks. In every city, in every community, under challenging weather conditions, you bring back electricity, heat, and water supply. This is extremely hard work, but it strengthens the internal resilience of our country, which also supports our positions in diplomacy,” added the head of state.
