The first show of the third international season of Ukrainian Fashion Week under the initiative "Support Ukrainian Fashion" took place, and PASKAL presented its Resort collection at Malta Fashion Week.

"This is the second collaboration between Ukrainian Fashion Week and Malta Fashion Week. We are sincerely grateful to our colleagues for their constant support of Ukrainian designers during the war. It gives us the opportunity to continue working, maintain our business and team, despite any challenges. Creativity cannot be stopped, and we remain committed to our mission of supporting Ukrainian designers under any circumstances," said Irina Danylevska, co-founder, and CEO of Ukrainian Fashion Week.

In the new collection showcased at Malta Fashion Week, Ukrainian brand PASKAL presents its Resort collection, revealing further layers of visuality of the butterfly, as previously seen in the brand's collection "Out of the Cocoon." The butterfly symbolizes fundamental phenomena - beauty and its transition, transformation, beginning, and end - and becomes a wonderful source of inspiration for designer Yulia Paskal.

Through her designs, Yulia Paskal navigates the path between playful and intelligent, girly and strong, fantastical and wearable. Butterfly appliques created using PASKAL's signature laser-cutting technique are adorned with bright and transparent crystals as the brand explores facets of femininity. Fractal aesthetics, the cyclical structure of life, and otherworldly yet accessible sensations serve as subtext for dreamy, attractive designs.

Elegant silhouettes are refined with cut-outs and slits; altered shapes feature asymmetrical and soft lines. A mini-dress composed entirely of laser-cut butterflies is a highlight of the Resort collection. Bras and corsets adorned with butterflies are paired with semi-transparent high-waisted trousers and skirts. Single-breasted jackets complete the lineup of outerwear, covering delicate dresses and tender shoulders.

The color palette ranges from minimalist black and white to striking pink and blue. Semi-transparent organza, techno-crepe, and synthetic satin create a composition of textures and tactile sensations. A-line silhouettes, 60s-style jackets, and slip dresses are reimagined in bold and sensitive garments. When the butterfly flutters its wings, we open our eyes to a new environment of beauty.
