Poland’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has said it has no plans to change the operating arrangements of its embassy in Kyiv.
The ministry announced this in a post on X.
The Polish Foreign Ministry noted that Russia’s continued threats and calls for diplomats to leave Kyiv demonstrate that the Kremlin is seeking to intimidate Europe and undermine support for Ukraine.
“However, such measures, contrary to the principles of the international law, will not have the desired effect. Russia will neither wear Ukraine down nor shake European solidarity with the Ukrainian people,” the ministry stressed.
It reaffirmed Poland’s unwavering support for Ukraine, its right to self-determination and its territorial integrity.
“We will continue to respond firmly to Russia’s irresponsible and dangerous actions and to increase pressure on the Kremlin together with our allies. We do not intend to change the operations of the Polish Embassy in Kyiv,” Poland’s Foreign Ministry said.
