Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda stated that Russia has intensified its hybrid attacks neighboring the EU, as evidenced by the recent elections in Georgia and the referendum in Moldova.
He expressed this on X (Twitter).
Nausėda emphasized that Russia does not want Georgia and Moldova to determine their own futures and is "doing everything possible to disrupt democratic processes."
The President of Lithuania also believes that it is crucial for the European Union "not to abandon the people of Georgia and Moldova."
"We cannot let their European dream drift away. We must support civil society and ensure that the people's voices are decisive in determining the future of their countries," he concluded.
