Thirteen Ukrainian startups at the pre-seed and seed stages received funding from the Ukrainian Startup Fund (USF) totaling $475,000.
The teams pitched their projects before a competitive jury, competing for grants of $25,000 and $50,000, according to the fund’s statement.
Seven startups received $25,000 grants. These include:
- SYLA — a bionic knee prosthesis integrating advanced technologies, machine learning, and AI to adapt to individual walking styles, ensuring natural movement;
- JobAtlas — a machine learning-based technology that optimizes career planning, providing recommendations based on current labor market trends;
- Embraces — a mobile app for braces wearers that facilitates orthodontic treatment through progress tracking, educational content, and gamification;
- ReSelpMe — a white-label SaaS platform for dry cleaners that helps monetize idle capacity and retain premium clients;
- Svitank — an allergy clinic offering world-class medical services in Ukraine, including a digital programme for managing food allergies;
- Romtos — a career-path platform that bridges the gap between education and practice for IT companies, students, and freelancers;
- ReMind — an AI-based solution for diagnosing post-traumatic stress disorder and supporting mental health.
Six startups received $50,000 grants, including:
- VITA325 — a mobile rehabilitation app for people with mobility disorders, combining self-monitoring, therapist support, and community interaction;
- Proste ZNO — an educational app for effective preparation of school students for the NMT/ZNO exams and daily learning;
- LeadForceTalent — an AI platform that automates recruitment, reducing hiring time to just minutes;
- Cerco.ai — an AI platform for fast deal sourcing, automatically collecting data from multiple sources, verifying executive contacts, and launching cold outreach;
- Josti — a proptech platform for renting housing for 1 to 12 months without realtor fees;
- Dots Platform — a software solution enabling restaurants, dark kitchens, and delivery services to quickly launch their own online ordering and automated delivery systems.
The pitch days served as the finals of the grant programme run by the Ukrainian Startup Fund in collaboration with the Ukraine-Moldova American Enterprise Fund (UMAEF). The programme allowed Ukrainian startups to present their innovative solutions to an expert jury and receive non-repayable funding to reach new horizons.
