Twelve vessels belonging to Russia’s “shadow fleet” were hit in the Black Sea overnight on Friday, July 17. A total of 159 vessels have been targeted during the 12 days of the “MoLoChKa” operation, according to Commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces (USF) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Robert 'Madyar' Brovdi.
“THE FLEETfall continues: 159 vessels in 12 days of the ‘MoLoChKa’ operation. +12 vessels from the ‘shadow fleet’ hunted down on July 17 by USF ‘Birds’ in the Black Sea: 9 bulk carriers, 1 tanker, 1 gas tanker and 1 tugboat,” Brovdi wrote on Telegram.
According to Brovdi, during the 'MoLoChKa' operation from July 6 to July 17, 159 vessels belonging to Russia’s “shadow fleet” were hit.
“By sea: 117 vessels in the Azov Sea, 42 in the Black Sea,” Brovdi specified.

“The goal is the irreversible paralysis of logistics for oil, fuel and cargo transported in circumvention of sanctions. To turn every self-propelled vessel into a drifting barge, blind and deaf; the aim is not to pollute the waters with oil spills, therefore no hull breaches,” Brovdi described the objective of targeting Russia’s shadow fleet.
