500 Ukrainian representatives of 20 sports will train in Italy indefinitely and free of charge
The Minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine Vadym Gutzayt, together with the President of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine Serhiy Bubka met with the leaders of Italian sports - the President of the National Olympic Committee of Italy Giovanni Malago and the Secretary General of the Ministry of Sports of Italy Valentina Vezzali.
At the meeting, the Italian side undertook to provide 500 Ukrainian athletes representing 20 sports in Italy for free and free of charge.
This will be the case until the war in Ukraine ends.
"I am grateful to our colleagues who do not turn away in difficult times, but try to help. We highly appreciate the support of Ukrainian athletes because they are the ones who unfurl our flag in international arenas and show the strength and power of the Ukrainian people! ” Vadym Gutzayt emphasized.
