Law enforcement officers in Sumy region have discovered a cache of Russian ammunition intended for hostile saboteurs. The findings will now be handed over to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The State Bureau of Investigations reported the discovery.
During operational measures, law enforcement discovered the cache of ammunition, which was equipped by Russian military near the border in Sumy region. According to operational information, it was intended for enemy sabotage groups neutralized by the Ukrainian Armed Forces during the liberation of the Sumy region territory.
In a camouflaged storage hidden in the forest strip, nearly forty anti-tank mines, ten improvised explosive devices, two rocket-propelled grenade shots, and two crates of 14.5mm caliber ammunition were stored.
After examination, the seized ammunition will be handed over for the needs of the Armed Forces.
