"SOLARIS" by Stanisław Lem – the iconic novel that captivated the world, will come to life on stage in a unique ballet rendition.

The ballet "Solaris" to music by one of the most sought-after contemporary composers, Alexander Rodin, and libretto by Vasyl Vovkun, is more than just science fiction. It’s a journey into the depths of human consciousness, where reality meets illusions, and the mind encounters the unfathomable Cosmos. The planet Solaris, shrouded in a mysterious ocean, forces the characters to face their own fears and emotions, seeking truth and the true meaning of existence.

The most anticipated ballet event of the year will be brought to life through choreography by the renowned choreographer Kateryna Kurman. Leading the orchestra is one of the foremost interpreters of Alexander Rodin’s music, the musical director of the theater, Ivan Cherednichenko.

Stunning, imaginative set designs and costumes are created by the talented and progressive scenographer Svitlana Reynish. The cosmic experience will be enhanced by a masterful lighting design by Oleksandr Mezentsev.
