During the night of November 5 (starting from 7 p.m. on November 4), Russian forces launched 80 attack drones — including Shahed, Gerbera, and other types — from the directions of Kursk, Oryol, Millerovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia. Around 50 of them were Shaheds.
Ukrainian air defence — including aviation, missile units, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups — responded to the air assault.
As of 9 a.m., preliminary data indicate that air defence forces destroyed or suppressed 61 enemy drones of the Shahed, Gerbera, and other types over northern, southern, and eastern regions of the country.
Impacts from 18 attack drones were recorded at seven locations, while debris from downed drones fell in two additional areas.
