On the night of August 29 (starting from 8:00 p.m. on August 28), the Russian forces launched an attack using 68 strike drones, including Shahed-type UAVs and various decoy drones, from the directions of Kursk, Millerovo, Bryansk, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia.
Ukrainian air defense responded with aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare, drone systems, and mobile fire groups.
According to preliminary data as of 8:00 a.m., air defense forces destroyed or suppressed 46 Shahed drones and other decoy UAVs over the north and east of the country.
Twenty-two drones hit nine locations in Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
