On the night of September 4 (starting at 19:30 on September 3), the Russian forces launched 112 strike UAVs of the Shahed type and various types of decoy drones from the directions of Kursk, Bryansk, Millerovo, Orel, Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia, and Hvardiyske in occupied Crimea.
The air attack was repelled by Ukrainian aviation, air defense missile units, electronic warfare and drone system units, as well as mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
According to preliminary data as of 09:00, air defense forces shot down or suppressed 84 Shahed drones and decoy UAVs of various types over the northern, southern, and eastern regions of the country.
There were 28 confirmed drone strikes at 17 locations, as well as debris from downed UAVs falling at 5 sites.
