On the night of August 27 (from 20:30 on August 26), the Russian forces launched attacks using 95 Shahed strike drones and various types of drone simulators from the directions of Kursk, Millerovo, Orel, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia), and Chauda (occupied Crimea).
The air attack was repelled by the Ukrainian Air Force, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare and drone units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 09:00, air defense systems had shot down or suppressed 74 Shahed drones and drone simulators across northern, southern, and eastern Ukraine.
There were confirmed impacts from 21 drones at 9 different locations.
