Air defense forces neutralized 75 out of 112 Russian drones

On the night of June 3 (starting at 11:30 p.m. on June 2), the Russian forces launched an attack using 112 strike UAVs, including Shahed-type drones and various types of decoy drones. The drones were launched from the directions of Kursk, Oryol, Millerovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia), as well as Chauda in temporarily occupied Crimea.

The main targets of the air strike were the Chernihiv, Kharkiv, Sumy, Poltava, Odessa, and Donetsk regions.

The aerial assault was repelled by Ukraine’s aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare (EW) and drone warfare units, as well as mobile fire teams from the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

As of 09:00, air defense forces had neutralized 75 Shahed drones (and other types of UAVs) across the east, south, and north of the country. 60 were shot down with firepower, and 15 were jammed or suppressed by electronic warfare.

Russian aerial strikes hit 11 locations.
