During the night of November 3 (starting at 7 p.m. on November 2), the Russian forces launched an attack involving three Kh-47M2 Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles from the airspace over Russia’s Lipetsk region, four Iskander-M ballistic missiles from the occupied territory of Crimea, and five S-300/S-400 surface-to-air missiles from the Kursk region. In addition, 138 strike UAVs — including Shahed, Gerbera, and other types — were launched from the directions of Kursk, Millerovo, Orel, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia, about 80 of which were Shaheds.
The air assault was repelled by Ukraine’s Air Force, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare and drone system divisions, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data as of 8:30 a.m., air defense forces shot down or neutralized one Kh-47M2 Kinzhal missile and 115 drones — including Shaheds, Gerberas, and others — over northern, southern, and eastern regions of the country.
Missile and drone strikes were recorded at 11 locations, with a total of 20 UAV impacts.
