Air defense neutralized 558 Russian drones and 19 missiles

On the night of November 29 (from 18:00 on November 28), the Rusian forces carried out a combined strike on Ukraine’s critical infrastructure using strike UAVs and air- and ground-launched missiles.

The main target of the strike was the Kyiv region.

In total, the Air Force’s radar troops detected and tracked 632 aerial attack targets – 36 missiles and 596 UAVs of various types:

  • 596 strike UAVs of Shahed and Gerbera types (and other UAVs) from Kursk, Oryol, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk – Russia; Hvardiyske – occupied Crimea (about 350 were Shaheds);
  • 5 aeroballistic Kh-47M2 Kinzhal missiles (launch area: Ryazan region, Russia);
  • 23 cruise missiles Kh-101/Iskander-K (launch areas: Rostov region, Russia);
  • 4 ballistic Iskander-M missiles (launch areas: Bryansk and Rostov regions, Russia);
  • 4 guided air-launched Kh-59/69 missiles (launch areas: Kursk region, Russia).

The aerial attack was repelled by the Air Force, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, UAV units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

As of 10:30, preliminary data indicate that air defense shot down/suppressed 577 aerial targets:

  • 558 UAVs (Shahed, Gerbera, and other types);
  • 1 aeroballistic Kh-47M2 Kinzhal missile;
  • 12 cruise missiles Kh-101/Iskander-K;
  • 4 ballistic Iskander-M missiles;
  • 2 guided air-launched Kh-59/69 missiles.

Missile impacts and 35 strike UAVs were recorded at 22 locations, while debris from downed targets fell in 17 locations.
