On the night of August 7, starting at 10:30 PM on August 6, Russian forces launched a massive drone attack involving 112 strike UAVs, including Shahed-type drones and various decoy drones. The assault originated from Russia’s Kursk and Primorsko-Akhtarsk, as well as from Chauda and Hvardiiske in occupied Crimea.

Ukraine’s air defense responded using aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare, drone systems, and mobile fire groups.

As of 09:00, preliminary reports confirmed that 89 enemy drones were shot down or suppressed over northern, eastern, and central regions of Ukraine.

However, 23 drones struck 11 different locations, and debris from intercepted UAVs fell in three other areas.
