On the night of October 29 (from 7:00 PM on October 28), the Russian forces launched an attack with 126 strike drones, including Shahed, Gerbera, and other types, from the following directions: Kursk and Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia; Donetsk, Chauda, and Hvardiyske in temporarily occupied Ukrainian territories. Around 80 of these were Shahed drones.
The air attack was repelled by the Ukrainian Air Force, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare and drone units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
According to preliminary data, as of 9:00 AM, Ukraine’s air defense systems had shot down or suppressed 93 drones, including Shahed, Gerbera, and other types, in the north and east of the country.
Impacts from 32 strike drones were recorded at 10 different locations.
