Alexander Kovalenko about the situation on the Kinburn Spit
After the liberation of the Kinburn Spit, the cascade defense of the Russian occupation troops will begin to collapse already on the left bank of the Kherson region.
Alexander Kovalenko, a military-political observer for the Information Resistance group, believes that the Russian occupiers have a suicidal stalemate on the Kinburn Spit. Soon there may be another "gesture of goodwill" from the Russian invaders.
In an interview with TSN, he noted that the Kinburn Spit should be considered in combination with a part of the left-bank Kherson region.
“As of today, we are not talking about some kind of assault actions in the direction of this area. We are talking about fire impact. There is quite a serious fire impact from the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” the expert noted.
According to Kovalenko, holding positions occupied by the Russians is complicated by many factors. In the near future, the enemy will not be able to hold this area at all.
"It will be a suicidal stalemate when the occupiers go where they will be constantly destroyed. These are quite serious losses," Kovalenko emphasized.
He added that a "goodwill gesture" could soon occur on the Kinburn Spit. At the same time, the expert predicts a "negative offensive" of the occupiers not only there.
“If a ‘goodwill gesture’ takes place there, then in fact, the Kinburn Spit is such a dagger to the left-bank Kherson region. One way or another, they will be forced to leave the other part of the left-bank Kherson region. Therefore, this is such a suicidal stalemate – they are there, our artillery constantly covers them," the observer continued.
Kovalenko believes that if the Russians leave the Kinburn Spit, then the Armed Forces of Ukraine will immediately appear there. After that, the cascade defense of the Russian occupation troops will begin to collapse already on the left bank of the Kherson region.
"They understand it, but they can't do anything about it," the expert summed up.
